Larimer County Youth Conservation Corps (LCYCC):

  • 10-week summer job doing outdoor conservation work
  • Requirements include:
    • Youth 16-19 years of age
    • Larimer County resident
    • Work outdoors 36 hours per week
    • Willingness to actively participate as a team player in team building and environmental education activities
  • Hourly wage- $7.28
  • Potential for an AmeriCorps education award
  • Limited positions available

Summer Job Hunt Services:

  • Local summer job listings
  • Requirements include:
    • 14-21 years of age
  • Workshops on interviewing, resumes and career exploration
  • Free use of phones, computers, copiers and fax machine for job searching purposes
  • Staff available to assist with job search
  • Individual appointments available

Paid Summer Internships:

  • Hourly wage- $7.50
  • 25 hours per week or less
  • Eight weeks in length
    • Applications will open on April 6th until filled
  • Requirements include:
    • Must meet low-income guidelines
    • Larimer County resident
  • Variety of community locations available
  • Limited positions available

  • Earn incentive dollars by completing training and attending workshops
  • Requirements include:
    • Youth between the ages of 14-17

    • No income requirements to participate
  • Staff available to assist with job search
  • Individual appointments available
  • Limited opportunities available

  • Requirements include:
    • Youth 16-21 years of age
    • Must meet low-income guidelines and face other employment challenges
  • GED services available
  • Scholarships for education/training
  • Assistance in finding employment
  • Paid internships available
  • Appointments necessary
  • Continued participation required
